FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Energy Efficiency?

An energy-efficient home is designed to conserve and reduce energy use. A home’s construction, appliances, and major features all impact energy efficiency. That means an energy efficient home is well insulated and airtight, with high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment that helps keep utility bills low. The home has great ventilation and excellent air quality; it’s never too humid or dry. All the efficient features and elements work together to lower energy consumption, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and shrink the home’s carbon footprint.

Do I Need A Home Warranty?

What benefits does the warranty provide? Perhaps the most important benefit is that from the date of closing you will have coverage for 10 years on qualified structural defects.  Secondly the warranty is fully-transferrable instantly increasing the resale value of your home.  All of this warranty coverage is paid for in full by Green Plan Construction.

Do You Presale Homes?

Yes we do! Why settle for someone else’s vision of the ideal home when you can make your own vision come to life? You can select your favorite cabinets, countertops, appliances, and flooring. While you’re at it, you can choose gorgeous bath and kitchen fixtures, lighting and other options that you love. The style of your new home will be yours and yours alone.
